Country of the useless

Is there any service her ein Spain that works at least acceptably well?

Social Security: is a chaos without end. The doctors they employ are absolutely useless, with a few exceptions, so they can call themselves "the best social security in the world" - yes they do!!! ... and they believe it! I have stopped being self employed in NOVEMBER 2008 ... I got billed again automatically yesterday (January 30th 2009) ... they just stole money from me two months in a row!

Fiscal Advisors: I had asked my fiscal advisor (who has no legal liability!) to proceed with taking me off the Social Security in November last year. Has he done his job?

Telefónica de España: (to cut an even longer story short) bloody useless bunch of criminals! I have not got invoices for almost half a year, therefore (after they had billed me for services they have not done in the first invoice), I have not allowed them anymore to have a direct debit on my bank account. I moved ... they left me without a telephone for six weeks in a row, I still had to pay for the bloody service, and no letter attached to anything.

After months of not having paid old bills where I never got the invoices for (having requested them several times!), I have got a summary bill. OK. PLUS another one for 346,27€, without any explanation. Payable: "on reception".

I called asked what this second bill was for. Nobody could tell me. So I told them I was going to pay the outstanding invoices with my next salary (salaries are usually paid in the beginning of the month, at least here in Western Europe). YESTERDAY (29th of January) I got my landline cut off. 

Again I called, knowing why I have been cut off, but asking. ... and then I enquired about the additional invoice without explanation and have been told: "this is a warranty deposit you have to pay to Telefónica, once you have paid your invoices you get it back."

How stupid do these morons think I am? My outstanding invoices were less then the "warranty deposit" ... and does anybody think you would get any money back from a company that does not even have the dignity of sending out invoices or when getting a complaint reacting to it? :-)

BANKS: ... another of my favourite topics in Spain ... the only one I have nothing to say about for now is the postal services, as they don't exist, well nothing to complain about. I have just been trying to make an online transfer with "Santander" one of the biggest banks in the world (as Spaniards believe and say). Well their online banking almost never works. Last month I called to tell them about it. So they told me I had to use bloody IE, otherwise they could not guarantee the service. I had opened an accoutn with "patagon" ages ago (remember this friendely online bank?), specially because they at the time did NOT force clients to work with bloody IE, and now a couple of years later, a big spanisch bank buys them (one of the biggest in the world as they say and believe) and "gone are the days". So I used bloody IE ... but it still does not work! I could not make the transfer! I got an Error Message, telling me I had to put a cell phone numer in, so they could send me an SMS ... but on the whole site there is nowhere yyou could edit your presonal data (you have to do it over the phone!) ... when I opened the account years ago, I filled in all the data online and that was it. AMAZING SPANISH TECHNOLOGY IS WORKING INVERTED!

New era?

It's done, the 44th president of the US has now officially taken power. Let's wish him all the best. Should I be the first one to compare him with Hitler? ... able to move masses that have not been seen for a very long time when inthroning someone. The "new messiah"; poor Mr Obama! He is not a miraculous healer, he is not a guru or some sort of superman, but everybody expects him to change the world ASAP. We seem to forget that the damage inflicted by the former eight years of corrupt mismanagement have done massive harm to the world, and that some of the agreements these criminals have made will still be binding, even if Mr Obama takes over.

Let's still hope that Mr Obama is able to produce his "change" as quick as possible. Opposed to he Germans who have held a regional election this weekend and have decided to on one hand slab the SPD (for disastrous mismanagement of coalition talks in this last year), but to keep basically "the same old faces" we have known for years now and who will keep on sleeping in their comfortable arm chairs for another legislational period. No change! 

Still in Germany today the "worst word of the year" has been elected: "notleidende Banken". EXCELLENT CHOICE! Translated it would be something like "suffering banks". Why is this an "Unwort"? ... the banks have caused this financial crisis and are now suffering? They have achieved to change the perception from being the resposible party to becoming the victims. Who is being rescued by governments?

George Wanker Bush's Good Bye - No Errors

FINALLY! Eight years of terror are almost over.
Mr Bush (why do I still have to call him "Mister"?) ... Bush will be proud when looking into the mirror once he is back in Texas (where they should never have let him go). There have been only three errors in eight years of his government ... amnesia or alcoholism?
"Mission accomplished": we gave the wrong message;
"Katrina": I should have landed in New Orleans and
"Abu Greib": ... I don't remember which was the glitch there.

No word about Donald Rumsfeld ... what happened to this guy, by the way? I never heard of him again after the Iraq desaster (NO ERROR!).
What about Guantánamo? ... the US government hijacked "terrorists" dragged them to Cuba and now they want to get rid of them, but don't want to take them to the USA and can not give them back to their countries (NO ERROR!)

He supposedly has taken over the country in a crisis and is delilvering it in a crisis. The crisis Bush is leaving behind is bigger than the crisis he has taken the country over with. So what has he done in eight years besides making things even worse ... and - they say - drinking loads of alcohol? (NO ERROR!)

Isn't it strange that oil prices climbed immensely during his dictatorship and now as he is delivering "the work of his life" are low again? Could it be all the Rummys and Bushies have been speculating with oil? Insider trade? Could someone PLEASE investigate this?!

Sorry, but Angela Merkel was right when she compared him to Adolf Hitler many, many years ago ... unfortunately there is no super-power around at the moment that could have stopped his propaganda machinery or that could have counted all the dead Bush has left behind in just 8 years of tyrany (sorry - I don't know whether you spell it with "nn" or just "n" - should I ask Bush how to spell it?).

If someone is to blame for the decay of the USA it is definitively the Bush family. First the father whose presidency we can call as "mediocre" (which is still an extremely benevolent approach that can only be taken AFTER having seen his son's political art), but he has been able to wind himself through, but then this son ... and now the (obviously blinded and senile) father wants the other son (Jeb) to become president of the USA? ... yes the one with the electoral fraud eight years ago! ... exactly that piece of shining personality! If it were any other country on earth where such an electoral fraud would have happened, the USA would have been the first to take to the arms and invade that bloody country of undemocratic fascists. ... unfortunately there was no super-power bigger than themselves.

As I had to hear from an US-American official at an airport when checking a Brazilian passport: "Brazil is not the most developed country, they still don't have digitally readable passports" ... I said: "May be, but their electoral system is digital and therefore much more sound and advanced than the one in your country, where electoral fraud is still possible." ... (I was tempted to add: as it is in Africa - but I did not want to offend the africans who have been suffering under "superior white man's burden" for so long).

After eight years of dictatorship, of course there were only very few errors: just as Pinochet (backed by the USA), Saddam (backed by the USA), Franco (backed by the USA), Reza Pahlevi (backed by the USA), Stroessner (backed by the USA) and all the others would not and have not seen too many errors in their history of killing and slaughtering the opposition ... possibly Hitler himself has been backed initially by the "biggest democracy on earth".

I just wish that these eight years of desastrous management will be outweighed shortly, even though I am completely aware that it is impossible. The damage this Bush has done to the world is irreparable.
I wish that this whole family never ever gets to get the power it has had in this last generation. I hope they learn about being Christians (as they falsely claim to be ... just as the crusaders) and I really wish them the deep misery and grief their greed has made millions of families go through.

No "good" bye, nor "fare well" to Bush - just go! QUICK! ...

Everyone's a criminal

Breaking news from the US government: from today on everybody has to fill in the "US Admission Form" online BEFORE starting the journey! ... if you don't feed your data your journey shall be declined! Who wants to go to the USA is being treated as a criminal right before even starting his trip. What is going on? "Data protectors" say: "just give the obligatory data". WOW! ... what do you guys want Mr Nobody to do when being asked about "his drug abuse"? ... of course Mr Nobody will say that he has never used any drugs as it is the truth and he has nothing to hide ... and if he should not answer this question he may get his access denied, losing his flight ticket which cost him his sweat and which loss is certainly not covered by any insurance.
WELCOME TO THE USA! ... HELL-COME TO THE USA!
Please dear US-citizens don't be upset if all other countries will request you shortly to fill in loads of stupid papers or online forms with personal questions. Who is to blame for that is your own government who treats any and all other citizens as criminals (initially at least), and being US-citizens does not save you from the reciprocity of international diplomacy. I hope it will be applied all over the earth and you US-citizens will finally start a rebellion against these paranoic leaders you keep on voting.
