G20 + nothing else

Well, well, well, the buzz seems to be over. Oh, ... is there still a crisis going on? My bank does not seem to have realized there has been a crisis at all: 8 missed calls of theirs today! I would so much like to know how many calls the people get who have bought a house and have a mortgage on it. Most likely not one call, as banks (at least in Spain) are becoming rather Real Estate Agencies than anything else with all the homes they are embargoing.
It seems that they really believe that housing will climb further in value here in Spain, despite the terribly bad work they do. (I have been living a month now in a "brand new" apartment - two blinds have come down alreay and the front door doesn't lock properly anymore ... after just one month! ... we will have it wrecked after a year!)
... ah, and what has been decided on the "miraculous G20 meeting"? ... or have our saving leaders just burnt another couple of millions with flights, security measures, dinners and photographers, photos and etceteras?

G20 + some more

After 6 hours of meetings and 4 hours for photographs the "leaders of the world" decided to GET BACK to "contol values" (Peer Steinbrück Interview: http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/content/228?inPopup=true).
So there were "control mechanisms" before some "cataclysm" happended. Strange, isn't it?
Now we (tax payers) have to pay 2,500 Million USD to save banks who are again charging 25% of interest rates of credit cards we have been given - because they did not want to give us loans at 4% or 5% interest rate.
The biggest problem: we will be paying even more from March on, when the "world leaders" realize that all those broker cocaine-junkies don't fall for their eye-washing, and all the investors realize that they can not eat the money they have lost, but still feeel theor right of claiming their revenues.
We will have lots of fun with the financial world in the near future.
Please give best regards to your bank!
